Celebrating over twenty years with the firm, Susan joined in 1986 when it was known as Gould & McCoy. In 1994, in recognition of her success, the firm's name was changed to Gould, McCoy & Chadick. In 2007, the company became Chadick Ellig.
Susan has had a broad range of experience in corporate and consulting environments. In 1978 she joined the American Express Company where she held both relationship management and specialist human resource positions. During her eight-year career there, Susan was responsible for staffing executive level positions in the United States and overseas, as well as being the human resource generalist to the corporate CFO and his executive team. Prior to American Express, Susan was a consultant for Boyle Kirkman Associates, a firm that specialized in empowering women in the workplace.
Susan received her Bachelor of Science, Phi Beta Kappa, from Hunter College and her Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the New School for Social Research. She serves on the board of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC) and is the Chair of their Small Firm Forum. She is a member of the Women's Forum and serves on the advisory boards of The York Theatre Company and the Striking Viking Story Pirates, a children’s theater group that promotes literacy in inner city schools. In addition, Susan is President of the Brooklyn Heights Synagogue, a congregation of 300 family members.
A native New Yorker, Susan resides in Brooklyn Heights, New York.
